Study. trips 1. A study trip is a trip made by the employee at the request or on the instructions of the employer. The employee is entitled to a compensation for the costs of transport, the meals, and the overnight stay(s). 2. The employer will only pay those hours (without overtime pay) the employee would have worked if he had not been on a study trip. 3. After the trip, a minimum daily rest of 11 hours applies before the employee goes back to work.
