Subaward a. This term means a legal instrument to provide support for the performance of any portion of the substantive project or program for which you received this award and that you as the recipient award to an eligible subrecipient.
b. The term does not include your procurement of property and services needed to carry out the project or program (for further explanation, see 2 CFR 200.330).

Subaward. In order to assist the Subrecipient in financing the cost of the Project described in Paragraph 1 above during the Term, the Sponsor shall make a Subaward in the amount of $10,000.00 (Ten Thousand dollars), from the Outside Grant.

Subrecipient means an entity that: Receives a subaward from you under this Agreement; and is accountable to you for the use of the Federal funds provided by the subawards.
Subaward. As used in this Agreement, the term “Subaward” includes contracts, cooperative agreements, purchase orders, subcontracts, orders issued under blanket purchase agreements or similar devices, awards made to sub-recipients regardless of form, and modifications to all the aforementioned to be issued by the Seller under this Agreement. The Seller shall not artificially segregate its procurement to lesser dollar amounts for the purpose of circumventing this requirement.
