Subaward definition

Subaward means a legal instrument pursuant to which a Prime Recipient of Award funds awards all or a portion of such funds to a Subrecipient, in exchange for the Subrecipient’s support in the performance of all or any portion of the substantive project or program for which the Award was granted.
Subaward means an award by a Recipient to a Subrecipient funded in whole or in part by a Federal Award. The terms and conditions of the Federal Award flow down to the Award unless the terms and conditions of the Federal Award specifically indicate otherwise in accordance with 2 CFR §200.38.
