Common use of Submission of Issues Clause in Contracts

Submission of Issues. A. The submission of the Notice to Negotiate, which must be submitted no later than 120 calendar days prior to the expiration of this Contract, from the designated principal representative of the Association to the Superintendent or from the Superintendent to the designated principal representative of the Association, shall signify the commencing of negotiations. A mutually convenient meeting date shall be set and negotiations shall begin no later than March 15, unless both parties agree to a later date. B. All issues proposed for negotiations will be exchanged, in total and in writing, by the negotiation committees at the first negotiations session. Any new items proposed by either party after this exchange shall require the mutual agreement of both negotiating teams.
