Subsidy Eligibility. If you are determined newly eligible or ineligible for Advance Premium Tax Credits or cost-sharing reductions for coverage purchased through the Marketplace, you may apply for or change your coverage within 60 days before or 60 days after the date of the triggering event. If you apply and are enrolled on or before the date of the triggering event, the effective date of coverage is the first day of the month following the triggering event. If you apply and are enrolled after the date of the triggering event, then the effective date is the first day of the following month.
