Substantial Duties of a Position of Greater Responsibility. If an employee performs the substantial duties of a position of greater responsibility (such as a manager/supervisor) to cover for the vacancy or a leave of absence for a period of 1 week or more, they will receive a ten percent (10%) pay increase for the duration of the assignment. An employee asked to perform management duties (such as clinical supervision) may refuse such duties. Employees, for the purpose of enrichment and developing additional skills, may volunteer to supervise volunteers, student interns, case manager assistant trainees, and people served in work programs, etc. without monetary remuneration.
