Substitute for shop xxxxxxx. If a shop xxxxxxx is absent due to sickness, holiday, participation in a training programme or similar, a substitute may be appointed in agreement with the employer. In the period during which such a substitute works as shop xxxxxxx, he or she enjoys the same protection as the elected shop xxxxxxx if he or she meets the conditions for being elected shop xxxxxxx set out in clause 31.2.
