Common use of Suitability of Subject Matter Clause in Contracts

Suitability of Subject Matter. If the objective scholarship of a presentation, subject matter or course content is challenged, the Board reserves the right to investigate and make a final decision. Included in the investigation may be an Executive Session, if requested by the employee, closed to the public to the extent permitted by state law, in which the teacher will be allowed to present a defense for the presentation, subject matter or course content before the decision is made. Failure to comply with the Board decision shall be cause for disciplinary action.
