SUPERINTENDENT- SUPERVISION. ~ The Contractor shall keep on the work during its progress, a competent superintendent and any necessary assistants, all satisfactory to the Field Representative. The superintendent shall not be changed except with the consent of the Field Representative, unless the superintendent proves to be unsatisfactory to the Contractor and ceases to be in his or her employ. The superintendent shall represent the Contractor in his or her absence and all directions given to him or her shall be as binding as if given to the Contractor. Important directions shall be confirmed in writing to the Contractor. Other directions shall be confirmed on written request in each case.
