Supervisory Relief. At the specific request and at the sole discretion of laboratory management, a CLS may be assigned to be “in charge” of a component in the absence of a manager. If the assignment is for a period of more than four (4) consecutive hours, the CLS will receive additional compensation of three dollars and twenty-five cents ($3.25) per hour for the shift on which the assignment occurred. Such Clinical Laboratory Scientist shall remain in the bargaining un it during all of such relief time. Substitution by a Clinical Laboratory Scientist I for a Clinical Laboratory Scientist II does not qualify for such pay.

Substitution by a Clinical Laboratory Scientist I for a Clinical Laboratory Scientist II does not qualify for such pay.
