Supervisory Responsibilities Related to Body-Worn and In. Car Cameras 240. Supervisors shall ensure that officers under their command use body-worn and in- car recording equipment consistent with policy and this Agreement and shall hold officers under their command accountable when they do not use body-worn and in-car recording equipment consistent with policy and this Agreement. An investigation with respect to why a body-worn camera or in-car camera was not used will be initiated. The failure to use body worn and in-car camera equipment as required by FPD policy will result be grounds for discipline consistent with FPD policy. 241. Supervisors shall be required to periodically inspect body worn cameras and in- car video cameras for functionality. Supervisors shall immediately report any equipment problem to a designated FPD or City official. The City agrees to take all necessary steps to promptly repair equipment to ensure consistent availability of fully functioning body-worn and in-car cameras for all appropriate officers.

  • Specific Responsibilities In addition to its overall responsibility for monitoring and providing a forum to discuss and coordinate the Parties’ activities under this Agreement, the JSC shall in particular:

  • Employer Responsibilities Recognizing the inherent risk(s) in a correctional setting, the Employer is obligated to provide a safe workplace and to educate employees on proper safety procedures and use of protective and safety equipment.   • Other Responsibilities The Responsibility factors also take account of any responsibility the jobholder may have through the provision of advice and guidance on policies and procedures, research or the adaptation or development of existing or new policies and procedures. An assessment tool has been developed to help ensure that advisory, policy and similar ‘hands off’ responsibilities, such as research or democratic services, are correctly measured and allocated to the appropriate Responsibility factor. It is recommended that jobs are first evaluated on their ‘hands on’ responsibilities under each Responsibility factor and that an assessment is then made of the level of advisory/policy responsibilities and the factor to which it should be allocated.

  • Acknowledgement of Services and Responsibility of the Manager The Resident acknowledges that neither the Manager nor the Institution stands in loco parentis with respect to the Resident. The Residence provides living accommodations for independent students who are to be responsible and accountable for their personal needs and their interactions with their fellow residents as opposed to residential care.
