Supplementary Equity-Focused Long Service Teaching Appointments. 1. In addition to the LSTAs offered in B above, in each of the 2021-22 contract year and in the 2022-23 contract year a minimum of two (2) LSTAs the employer offers to provide seven (7) Supplementary Equity Focused LSTAs over the life of the 2020-2023 collective agreement: four (4) in 2021-22 for September 1, 2022 and three (3) in 2022-23 for September 1, 2023. These seven appointments will be offered to candidates who, as of September 1 preceding the date of the appointment, meet the service and have a minimum teaching intensity criteria described below of an average of 2.5 FCEs over the previous three years (may include approved leaves), with priority to candidates who have self-identified as Indigenous (Aboriginal) or as racialized (visible minority):
