Common use of Supplementary Unemployment Benefit (SUB) Plan Clause in Contracts

Supplementary Unemployment Benefit (SUB) Plan. Employees with at least twelve (12) consecutive months of employment going on Maternity or Adoption leave may elect to participate in the SUB plan upon the terms of the plan as approved (see Appendix "B" for terms of the plan). SUB plan benefits will be paid for up to a maximum to fifteen (15) weeks for Maternity leave and up to a maximum of ten (10) weeks for Adoption or Parental leave. All normal payroll deductions except contributions to the New Brunswick Public Service Pension Plan (NBPSPP) are taken from the SUB Plan benefits.
