Common use of Supporting Parent Leave Clause in Contracts

Supporting Parent Leave. An employee who is a supporting parent shall be entitled to up to 5 days paid leave taken from their accrued sick leave balance at the time their partner gives birth to a child or at the time the employee adopts a child provided that the employee has had 12 months continuous service with council immediately prior to the commencement of their supporting parent leave.
