SUSPENSION AND/OR TERMINATION OF WORK. Item 1. By written notice to CONSULTANT, CITY may suspend all or a portion of the Work under this Agreement if unforeseen circumstances beyond CITY’s control make normal progress of the Work impracticable. If suspension is greater than 60 days, then CONSULTANT shall have the right to terminate this Agreement in accordance with Article XVIII, Termination of Agreement. CITY’s suspension of Work hereunder shall be without prejudice to any remedy of CITY at law or equity. Item 2. By written notice to CITY, CONSULTANT may suspend the Work if CONSULTANT reasonably determines that working conditions at the Site (outside CONSULTANT’s control) are unsafe, or in violation of applicable laws. CONSULTANT’s suspension of Work hereunder shall be without prejudice to any other remedy of CONSULTANT at law or equity.

  • Suspension or Termination In accordance with 24 CFR 85.43, the Grantee may suspend or terminate this Agreement if the Recipient materially fails to comply with any terms of this Agreement, which include (but are not limited to), the following:

  • Cessation of Work Any one or all employees working in the immediate proximity when a fatal accident has occurred may without discrimination refrain from working the balance of the shift.

  • Suspension and Termination Schedule 6 shall have effect.

  • Suspension of Work The Department may, at its sole discretion, suspend any or all activities under the Contract, at any time, when it is in the best interest of the State of Florida to do so. The Customer may suspend a resulting contract or purchase order, at any time, when in the best interest of the Customer to do so. The Department or Customer will provide the Contractor written notice outlining the particulars of the suspension. After receiving a suspension notice, the Contractor must comply with the notice and will cease the performance of the Contract or purchase order. Suspension of work will not entitle the Contractor to any additional compensation. The Contractor will not resume performance of the Contract or purchase order until so authorized by the Department.

  • Term Termination and Suspension 18.1 This Agreement shall be effective from the Effective Date for the Term. The Service shall commence on the Commencement Date and continue until the Completion Date, whereupon this Agreement shall expire unless terminated earlier in accordance with its terms.
