Suspension and Transportation Costs. 3.1.3.4.1 If a Leased Part covered by this Article 3.1.3 is found to be defective, the Lease period as defined under the Airbus Proprietary Parts Repair Guide (the “Lease Period”) and the Lessee’s obligation to pay rental charges shall be suspended from the date upon which the Lessee notifies the Lessor of such defect until the date upon which the Lessor has repaired, corrected or replaced the defective Leased Part, provided however that the Lessee has, promptly after giving such notice to the Lessor, withdrawn such defective Leased Part from use. If the defective Leased Part is replaced, such replaced part shall be deemed to no longer be a Leased Part under the Lease as of the date upon which such part was received by the Lessor at the return location specified in the applicable Lease.
