Common use of SUSTAINABLE DESIGN Clause in Contracts

SUSTAINABLE DESIGN. Upon completion of the Schematic Design Phase for each phase of the Project or appropriate portion thereof, the Associate shall submit to the University documentation and proof, in a format approved by the University, that the design has incorporated the concepts of sustainable design, as stated in the “University Design Guidelines and Standards”, consistent with a “LEED’s” “Gold” Certification Level.
