Indonesia masih mengejar kepentingannya untuk memenuhi perundingan ulang terkait tarif bea masuk xxx tarif impor yang belum terlaksana secara efektif. Selain berkenaan tentang kepentingan nasional, Indonesia sebenarnya juga tidak menetapkan tujuan yang jelas yang akan dicapai dalam kerjasama ekonomi ini. Diplomasi ekonomi yang diupayakan indonesia dalam kerjasama ekonomi bilateral ini didasari oleh beberapa faktor seperti latar belakang sejarah, hubungan perdagangan xxxx xxxxxx menguntungkan, xxx juga kemajuan perekonomian Jepang. Indonesia juga bergantung kepada situasi ekonomi Jepang karena kegiatan impor,ekspor, xxx investasi yang berlangsung memberi dampak terhadap pertumbuhan ekonomi Indonesia dilihat dari nilai perdagangan yang terus mengalami tren kenaikan.
