Takeoff Distance Sample Clauses

Takeoff Distance. The takeoff distance will be measured at Xxxxxxx X. Xxxxxx Sonoma County Airport (125 feet MSL), at gross weight on a hard level surface from the point of brake release to the point at which the Vehicle reaches a height of 50 feet. Wind conditions must be less than 15 mph in any direction.

Takeoff Distance. The overall scoring system for the CHALLENGE places a very high priority on short Takeoff capability. The one team that fulfills all MERs and pertinent MPRs and demonstrates the shortest Takeoff distance over a 50 foot obstacle during its Community Noise Flight Attempt shall win the Shortest Takeoff Prize. Each Vehicle's demonstrated Takeoff Distance will also determine its Ground Travel Time (GTT). GTT will be used in scoring the Vehicle's total DtD speed in the CAFE 400 Prize. The matrix for GTT and prizes are found in Appendix. Each Vehicle's Takeoff Distance will be determined at Competition Weight from a smooth runway surface that is ≤ 500 feet MSL. The Takeoff Distance shall be defined as the minimum distance from the brake release point to clear a 50 foot obstacle on Takeoff while at Competition Weight using CP (for definition, see section 3.2a). VTOL Vehicles must remain outside the "deadman's zone" (vulnerability to crash in the event of engine failure) during all Takeoff and landing operations. Vehicle's Takeoff Distance will profoundly affect the scores of the other Challenge Prizes. See MPRs in Appendix.

  • Loop Provisioning Involving Integrated Digital Loop Carriers 2.6.1 Where InterGlobe has requested an Unbundled Loop and BellSouth uses IDLC systems to provide the local service to the End User and BellSouth has a suitable alternate facility available, BellSouth will make such alternative facilities available to InterGlobe. If a suitable alternative facility is not available, then to the extent it is technically feasible, BellSouth will implement one of the following alternative arrangements for InterGlobe (e.g. hairpinning):

  • Integrated Digital Loop Carriers The feeder portion of some loops may be provide by means of Integrated Digital Loop Carrier (IDLC). IDLC provides a fiber optic cable transmission path that travels directly into BellSouth’s central office local switch. Where BellSouth uses IDLC ,if technically feasible and capacity does exist, BST will provide Al-Call with a Designed DS0 UVL by using alternative provisioning techniques including but not limited to such as “hairpinning” and DAC grooming. Alternative provisioning techniques will be provided at no additional cost to Al-Call . Hairpinning involves providing a DS0 signal from an IDLC-served loop to Al-Call ’s collocation equipment by using a dedicated pathway that traverses BellSouth’s central office switch. BellSouth will provide such DS0 signal to Al-Call by establishing a copper cross connect between the BellSouth switch and Al-Call ’s collocation equipment.

  • Passengers THE CARRIER shall be liable for damages resulting from the death of a Passenger or any bodily injury sustained by a Passenger if the act causing the damages took place on board the aircraft or during boarding or deboarding operations.
