Common use of Task Budget Monitoring Clause in Contracts

Task Budget Monitoring. The budget shown in the Breakdown of Costs for each task is the best estimate at time of WOC (and WOC Amendment, if applicable) execution. However, as work under the WOC progresses it may require that more funding be applied to some tasks and products and less to others. Consultant shall monitor such needs on an on-going basis and, when needed, propose on a monthly basis as part of the invoicing and status report, budget refinements (within the limits of the not-to-exceed amount established for the WOC) to Agency for approval.
