Teacher Impact. It is recognized by all the parties of this contract that teachers have a substantial impact upon molding the present and future lives of their students, and that teachers have a responsibility to dress and conduct themselves in such a manner as to provide students with a positive influence.

  • New Teacher Orientation The Association shall have the opportunity to participate in the opening in-service day including speakers for the sole purpose of greeting new faculty members and informing them of the opportunities available to them through joining their professional association.

  • Teacher “Teacher” shall mean all persons in the appropriate unit employed by the District in a position for which the person must be licensed by the State of Minnesota, but shall not include the superintendent and any other licensed administrators who devote more than fifty (50%) percent of their time to administrative or supervisory duties, confidential employees, supervisory employees, essential employees, and such other employees as excluded by law.

  • New Member Orientation The Employer will notify the Union of any newly represented temporary employees.   • Teachers An individual who is a resident of a Contracting State immediately before making a visit to the other Contracting State, and who, at the invitation of any university, college, school or other similar educational institution, which is recognised by the competent authority in that other Contracting State, visits that other Contracting State for a period not exceeding two years solely for the purpose of teaching or research or both at such educational institution shall be exempt from tax in that other Contracting State on his remuneration for such teaching or research.

  • New Teachers No new teachers shall be hired for a vacancy for which a teacher on unrequested leave is certified.

  • COOPERATION IN IMPLEMENTATION On demand of the other Spouse and without undue delay or expense, each Spouse shall execute, acknowledge, or deliver any instrument, furnish any information, or perform any other acts reasonably necessary to carry out the provisions of this Agreement. If a Spouse fails to execute any document as required by this provision, the court may appoint the court clerk or his or her authorized designee to execute the document on that Xxxxxx’s behalf.

  • Designated Teacher for Looked After Children 17A) The Academy Trust will in respect of the Academy act in accordance with, and be bound by, all relevant statutory and regulatory provisions and have regard to any guidance and codes of practice issued pursuant to such provisions, as they apply at any time to a maintained school, relating to the designation of a person to manage the teaching and learning programme for children who are looked after by a LA and are registered pupils at the school. For the purpose of this clause, any reference to the governing body of a maintained school in such statutory and regulatory provisions, or in any guidance and code of practice issued pursuant to such provisions, shall be deemed to be references to the Governing Body of the Academy Trust.
