Teacher Pending Certification. A teacher who is hired to fill a permanent teaching vacancy, who is eligible and has applied for membership in the Ontario College of Teachers and is awaiting acceptance, may be hired to fill such vacancy as “a teacher pending certification”, unless such is expressly prohibited by the Ontario College of Teachers, and the following shall apply:
