Team Captain. The company will appoint a new ERT captain every six (6) months. The members will elect an assistant captain who will act as captain, in the captain’s absence. The duties of the Team Captain will include the following; 1) Ensure ERT duties and responsibilities are assigned and completed by the team members. 2) Ensure that ERT supplies and emergency equipment are maintained in proper functioning order. 3) Recommend training for fellow team members to the Company health and safety representative and the Union Co-Chairperson.. 4) Ensure that the documentation of all accidents/incidents responded to by the ERT is completed. 5) Make recommendations to the Company pertaining to ERT concerns. 6) Complete various tasks as assigned by the Company. 7) To assist the Company Health and Safety Co-chair person representative in setting the agenda for bi-weekly meetings. The team captain will be rotated through the team every six months, to be overseen by the current captain and the company co-chair.
