Common use of Technical Cooperation Clause in Contracts

Technical Cooperation. Each Party shall encourage technical cooperation between its agencies for standardization and metrology, promoting the provision of information and technical assistance, according to available resources and under terms mutually agreed, in order to assist in the attainment of this objective and to enhance the activities, processes, standardization and metrological systems and measures of both Parties.

Technical Cooperation. 1. Each Party shall encourage promote technical cooperation between by its agencies for standardization and metrologymetrology bodies, promoting the provision of providing information and or technical assistance, according to available resources the extent possible, and under terms mutually agreedon mutually-agreed terms, in order to assist in the attainment of compliance with this objective Chapter and to enhance the fortify standards- and metrology-related activities, processes, standardization and metrological systems and measures of both Partiesmeasures. 2. The Parties may make joint efforts to arrange for technical-cooperation from non-Party countries.

At the request of a Party may, the other party to the extent possible: a) That party to provide information or technical advice and assistance on mutually agreed terms and conditions to strengthen measures concerning the standardization of that Party, as well as their activities, processes and systems; and b) That party to provide information on its technical cooperation programs linked with measures related to standardization on areas of particular interest. 2. Each Party shall encourage technical cooperation between standardisation of its agencies for standardization and metrologybodies, promoting the provision of information and technical assistance, according to available resources and under terms mutually agreedas appropriate, in order to assist in the attainment of this objective and to enhance the standardisation activities, processes, standardization and metrological systems and measures of both Partiessuch as through membership in international standardisation bodies.
