Common use of Telephone Consultation by Home Health Nurses Clause in Contracts

Telephone Consultation by Home Health Nurses. Telephone consultation by 14 home health nurses, including documentation of telephone contact, that is 15 necessary for supervision and guidance of personnel on duty, telephone 16 conferences, and/or patient evaluation or advice that is in excess of fifteen (15) 17 cumulative minutes while the nurse is on-call, shall be considered hours worked 18 and shall be compensated at the applicable rate of pay. Nurses are responsible 19 for duly and accurately recording all such working time. If the nurse makes a 20 home call while on contact duty, Section 9.15.4 will apply.

Nurses are responsible 19 for duly and accurately 15 recording all such working time. If the nurse makes a 20 home call while on contact duty, Section 9.15.4 9.7 16 above will apply.
