Common use of TERM, COPIES AND APPLICATION OF COLLECTIVE AGREEMENT Clause in Contracts

TERM, COPIES AND APPLICATION OF COLLECTIVE AGREEMENT. 2.01 This agreement, including appendices hereto unless altered by mutual consent of both Parties, shall be in force and effect from March 9, 2021, until March 8, 2024, and from year to year thereafter unless amended or terminated. Notification of desire to amend or terminate may be given in writing by either Party to the other Party during the period between sixty (6) and one hundred and twenty (120) days prior to its expiration. 2.02 If, pursuant to such negotiations, an Agreement on the renewal or amendment of this Agreement is not reached prior to the current expiration date, this Agreement shall be automatically extended until conclusion of the new Agreement or completion of the proceedings prescribed under the Alberta Labour Relations Code. 2.03 The parties agree there will be no strikes or lockouts while this Collective Agreement is in effect.
