Common use of Term of Franchise Clause in Contracts

Term of Franchise. Subject to section 18 of this Agreement, the term of the Non-Exclusive Franchise granted to Franchisee will be from, January 1, 2015 to June 30, 2016, inclusive (“Initial Term”). The City’s Director of Environmental Services may, in the Director’s discretion, extend the term of this Agreement for up to three (3) one-year increments (“Additional Term”). Any such extension of the term of this Agreement must be given in writing and will not be effective unless and until accepted in writing by Franchisee.
