Common use of Term of Franchise Clause in Contracts

Term of Franchise. The term of the Franchise granted hereunder shall be twelve (12) years, commencing upon the Effective Date of the Franchise, unless the Franchise is renewed or is lawfully terminated in accordance with the terms of this Franchise Agreement, the Code of Virginia, and the Cable Act.
