Common use of Term of Master Agreement Clause in Contracts

Term of Master Agreement. ‌ 4.1 This Master Agreement will commence on July 11, 2024, or upon the date of its execution by the Sheriff or his designee as authorized by the Board, whichever is later, and will expire on July 10, 2027, unless sooner extended or terminated, in whole or in part, as provided herein. 4.2 The County will have the sole option to extend this Master Agreement Term for up to four additional one-year option periods, for a maximum total Master Agreement Term of seven years. Each such option period Term will be exercised at the sole discretion of the Sheriff as authorized by the Board and will be in the form of a written Amendment executed in accordance with Paragraph 8.1 (Amendments and Change Notices) of this Master Agreement. 4.3 The County maintains a database that tracks/monitors Contractor performance history. Information entered into the database may be used for a variety of purposes, including determining whether the County will exercise a Master Agreement Term option period. 4.4 Contractor must notify the Department when this Master Agreement is within six months from the expiration of the Term as provided for hereinabove. Upon occurrence of this event, Contractor must send written notification to County Project Director at the address provided in Exhibit A (County’s Administration) to this Master Agreement.
