Common use of Term of Master Agreement Clause in Contracts

Term of Master Agreement. 4.1 This Master Agreement shall commence on the Effective Date and shall expire on January 27, 2030, unless sooner terminated or extended, in whole or in part, as provided in this Master Agreement. 4.2 The County shall have the sole option to extend the Master Agreement term for up to five additional one-year terms. Such option and extension shall be exercised at the sole discretion of the Director or designee as authorized by the Board of Supervisors in accordance with Sub-paragraph 8.1 Amendments. 4.3 The County maintains databases that track/monitor the Contractor performance history. Information entered into such databases may be used for a variety of purposes, including determining whether the County will exercise an Agreement term extension option. 4.4 The Contractor shall notify the County when this Master Agreement is within six (6) months from the expiration of the term as provided for hereinabove.
