Common use of Term of Master Agreement Clause in Contracts

Term of Master Agreement. 4.1 This Master Agreement is effective upon the date of its execution by Sheriff or his designee as authorized by the Board. This Master Agreement will expire on unless sooner extended or terminated, in whole or in part, as provided herein. 4.2 The County will have the sole option to extend this Master Agreement term for up to four one-year periods, for a maximum total Master Agreement term of eight years. Each such option and extension will be exercised at the sole discretion of the Sheriff or his designee as authorized by the Board. 4.3 The County maintains a database that tracks/monitors Contractor performance history. Information entered into the database may be used for a variety of purposes, including determining whether the County will exercise a Master Agreement term extension option. 4.4 Contractor must notify the Department when this Master Agreement is within six months from the expiration of the term as provided for hereinabove. Upon occurrence of this event, Contractor must send written notification to the Department at the address herein provided in Exhibit A (County’s Administration) to this Master Agreement.
