Common use of Termination of Checkoff Clause in Contracts

Termination of Checkoff. An employee shall cease to be subject to checkoff deductions beginning with the month immediately following the month in which he/she signs a dues termination card at the Union office. The designated Secretary-Treasurer will be notified by the Employer of the names of such employees following the end of each month in which the termination took place.
