Common use of Termination of Checkoff Clause in Contracts

Termination of Checkoff. An employee shall cease to be subject to checkoff deductions within thirty (30) days of the time that he/she revokes his/her voluntary authorization as provided in this Agreement. The designated Secretary-Treasurer will be notified by the Employer of the names of such employees following the end of each month in which the revocation or termination took place. The Union shall have the right to request a special conference should issues arise.
