THE PLANNING CONFERENCE. The purpose of this initial conference is to explain Faculty responsibilities and the evaluation procedure to the non-tenured Faculty Member (first year only) and to agree upon the goals and objectives of the Faculty Member and the methods of data collection to be used in the evaluations. Topics to be addressed should include, but are not limited to, the following: a. teaching b. advising c. curriculum development
