  • STUDENT SAFETY The Parties agree that when a Student attending a College facility expresses to any College employee a suicidal intention or a threat of physical harm to others, a protocol to be agreed prior to the effective date of this MOU will be executed. The protocol will prioritize ensuring that the Student does not pose a threat to self or others. The College will prioritize transitioning management of the issue to School District, the parent / guardian of the student or the most appropriate authority or entity to address the crisis at hand. Often the College Police Department will assess the situation and coordinate that transition with its School District counterpart. School District designates College as its agent under any applicable statutory authority or parent / guardian consent to treatment for the limited purpose of this crisis-response intervention. When on the College campus, Students will follow the policies and procedures of the College to ensure the safety and well-being of the fellow classmates, faculty, staff and visitors. The Colleges will develop standard protocols for various emergency situations. To ensure safety precautions, the College enrolls all students, faculty and staff, including Students in Dual Credit programs, into emergency alert messages. These messages are sent to all groups mentioned via the College email, robocalls and text messages to the telephones listed in the system of record. Alamo Colleges District is subject to legislation requiring it to allow licensees to carry concealed handguns on its campuses effective August 1, 2017, and Students will potentially encounter license holders availing themselves of this privilege. Any notice of these facts to parents of Students will be the responsibility of the School District. Students traveling for College events will be required to sign an Alamo Colleges District General Participation Release as a condition of participation as is required of all students from each of the Colleges of the Alamo Colleges District.

  • Pharmacy Services The Contractor shall establish a network of pharmacies. The Contractor or its PBM must provide at least two (2) pharmacy providers within thirty (30) miles or thirty (30) minutes from a member’s residence in each county, as well as at least two (2) durable medical equipment providers in each county or contiguous county.

  • Business Continuity Planning Supplier shall prepare and maintain at no additional cost to Buyer a Business Continuity Plan (“BCP”). Upon written request of Buyer, Supplier shall provide a copy of Supplier’s BCP. The BCP shall be designed to ensure that Supplier can continue to provide the goods and/or services in accordance with this Order in the event of a disaster or other BCP-triggering event (as such events are defined in the applicable BCP). Supplier’s BCP shall, at a minimum, provide for: (a) the retention and retrieval of data and files; (b) obtaining resources necessary for recovery, (c) appropriate continuity plans to maintain adequate levels of staffing required to provide the goods and services during a disruptive event; (d) procedures to activate an immediate, orderly response to emergency situations; (e) procedures to address potential disruptions to Supplier’s supply chain; (f) a defined escalation process for notification of Buyer, within two (2) business days, in the event of a BCP-triggering event; and (g) training for key Supplier Personnel who are responsible for monitoring and maintaining Supplier’s continuity plans and records. Supplier shall maintain the BCP and test it at least annually or whenever there are material changes in Supplier’s operations, risks or business practices. Upon Xxxxx’s written and reasonable request, Supplier shall provide Buyer an executive summary of test results and a report of corrective actions (including the timing for implementation) to be taken to remedy any deficiencies identified by such testing. Upon Xxxxx’s request and with reasonable advance notice and conducted in such a manner as not to unduly interfere with Supplier’s operations, Supplier shall give Buyer and its designated agents access to Supplier’s designated representative(s) with detailed functional knowledge of Supplier’s BCP and relevant subject matter.

  • Procurement Planning Prior to the issuance of any invitations to bid for contracts, the proposed procurement plan for the Project shall be furnished to the Association for its review and approval, in accordance with the provisions of paragraph 1 of Appendix 1 to the Guidelines. Procurement of all goods and works shall be undertaken in accordance with such procurement plan as shall have been approved by the Association, and with the provisions of said paragraph 1.

  • Patient Care Resident shall participate in safe, effective, and compassionate patient care, under supervision, commensurate with Resident's level of advancement and responsibility.

  • EDUCATION PROGRAM Measure 1a Is the school implementing the material elements of its Educational Program as defined in the charter contract? Meets Standard: The school implemented the material elements of its Educational Program in all material respects, and, in operation, the education program reflects the essential terms as defined in the charter contract, or the school has obtained approval for a modification to the essential terms. Measure 1b Is the school complying with applicable education requirements? Meets Standard: The school materially complies with applicable laws, rules, regulations and provisions of the charter contract relating to education requirements, including but not limited to: • Academic standards, including Common Core • Graduation requirements • State assessment and student testing • Implementation of mandated programming as a result of state or federal funding, including Title I and Title II funding Measure 1c Is the school protecting the rights of students with disabilities? Meets Standard: Consistent with the school’s status and responsibilities as a school within a single LEA under the State Department of Education, the school materially complies with applicable laws, rules, regulations and provisions of the charter contract (including the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act, Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973 and the Americans with Disabilities Act Amendment Act) relating to the treatment of students with identified disabilities and those suspected of having a disability, including but not limited to: • Equitable access and opportunity to enroll • Identification and referral • Appropriate development and implementation of Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) and Section 504 plans • Operational compliance including the academic program, assessments and all other aspects of the school’s program and responsibilities • Discipline, including due process protections, manifestation determinations and behavioral intervention plans • Access to the school’s facility and program to students in a lawful manner and consistent with students’ IEPs or Section 504 plans • Appropriate use of all available, applicable funding Measure 1d Is the school protecting the rights of English Language Learner (ELL) students? Meets Standard: The school materially complies with applicable laws, rules, regulations and provisions of the charter contract relating to ELL requirements (including Title III of the Elementary and Secondary Education Act [ESEA] and U.S. Department of Education authorities), including but not limited to: • Equitable access and opportunity to enroll • Required policies related to the service of ELL students • Proper steps for identification of students in need of ELL services • Appropriate and equitable delivery of services to identified students • Appropriate accommodations on assessments • Exiting of students from ELL services • Ongoing monitoring of exited students

  • Indiana Veteran’s Business Enterprise Compliance Award of this Contract was based, in part, on the Indiana Veteran’s Business Enterprise (“IVBE”) participation plan.   • Durable Medical Equipment (DME), Medical Supplies Prosthetic Devices, Enteral Formula or Food, and Hair Prosthesis (Wigs) • Items typically found in the home that do not need a prescription and are easily obtainable such as, but not limited to: o adhesive bandages; o elastic bandages; o gauze pads; and o alcohol swabs. • DME and medical supplies prescribed primarily for the convenience of the member or the member’s family, including but not limited to, duplicate DME or medical supplies for use in multiple locations or any DME or medical supplies used primarily to assist a caregiver. • Non-wearable automatic external defibrillators. • Replacement of durable medical equipment and prosthetic devices prescribed because of a desire for new equipment or new technology. • Equipment that does not meet the basic functional need of the average person. • DME that does not directly improve the function of the member. • Medical supplies provided during an office visit. • Pillows or batteries, except when used for the operation of a covered prosthetic device, or items for which the sole function is to improve the quality of life or mental wellbeing. • Repair or replacement of DME when the equipment is under warranty, covered by the manufacturer, or during the rental period. • Infant formula, nutritional supplements and food, or food products, whether or not prescribed, unless required by R.I. Law §27-20-56 for Enteral Nutrition Products, or delivered through a feeding tube as the sole source of nutrition. • Corrective or orthopedic shoes and orthotic devices used in connection with footwear, unless for the treatment of diabetes. Experimental or Investigational Services • Treatments, procedures, facilities, equipment, drugs, devices, supplies, or services that are experimental or investigational except as described in Section 3. Gender Reassignment Services • Reversal of gender reassignment surgery.
