Common use of The Working With Children Clause in Contracts

The Working With Children. Check (WWCC) is a legal requirement that applies to persons who work or volunteer with children (U18 years old). It checks the background of persons who work or volunteer with children in sport clubs, schools, childcare centres, community groups, Churches and other organisations. Once you verify a WWCC you must keep appropriate records that proves your members are cleared to work with children. You must also provide this record to the NSWTA. Each Affiliate must be registered as an employer, have all Coach/Managers/Officials undergo the prescribed check and verify all and report to the NSWTA prior to the event. Please refer to the accompanying Working with Children Check documentation to understand the process required: - • WWCC NSWTA Letter to Affiliates • WWCC Xxxx Xxxxx For Affiliates • WWCC Database Template • WWCC “How To” guide All Affiliates must submit a copy of the WWCC Verification Results Receipt that you receive via email after verifying your Affiliates checks online - NSWTA will not be accepting any submissions that fail to submit a copy of this receipt. Please refer to the above “How To” guide for further details All Affiliates are to adopt the NSWTA Youth Coach Guidelines.
