Common use of Timeliness of Award Clause in Contracts

Timeliness of Award. No arbitrator will be selected hereunder who does not agree to render an award not later than thirty (30) calendar days after the close of the hearing. By mutual agreement between the City and the Union, the arbitrator may render an award immediately upon the conclusion of the presentation of evidence.
