Tippler belt feeder (subterranean. The Contractor’s scope of work includes design, supply, installation and testing of the following: The scope includes the electrical requirement including the supply of switchgear for the power supply to the hoist which must feed from the current Tippler MCC.  A monorail beam at the belt feeder head end and a dual rail crane with cross travel at the tail end of the feeder that must run from the current maintenance openings in the ground level concrete slab to allow for full travel for the delivery of conveyor belt roll (max 20 tonnes) and other installed equipment to the head / tail end of the belt feeder.  The lifting beam is installed to allow for the lifting of installed equipment without requiring sideways rigging.  Electric hoists rated at the required lifting capacity must be supplied with the beams with a pendant push button hand held remote control. The scope includes the electrical requirement including the supply of switchgear for the power supply to the hoist which must feed from the current Tippler MCC.  The Contractor installs the crane and crawl in such a manner as to allow for the transferring of loads from the surface on to the new installed beam and crane.  The Contractor submits the designs and cost to the Project Manager for approval before installation. This includes demolition and disposal of current hoist and structure.
