Common use of Traction Electricity Charge Clause in Contracts

Traction Electricity Charge. 6.1 If the Train Operator procures the supply of electricity from or through Network Rail (whether as its agent or otherwise) for the purpose of running trains under this contract, the Traction Electricity Charge, Et, shall be calculated in accordance with the following formula: 𝐸𝑑 = 𝑇𝐸𝑅𝑑 β€’ 𝑇𝑀𝑑 β€’ 𝑇𝐸𝐢𝑑 where: TERt means the Traction Electricity Rate for Relevant Year t; TMt means the total electrified Train Miles for all trains operated by or on behalf of the Train Operator under this contract in Relevant Year t; and TECt means the modelled consumption rate for all charter operators set out in the section of the Traction Electricity Modelled Consumption Rate List entitled "Charter Traction Electricity Modelled Consumption Rates for CP6".
