Transfer Definition. (a) Definition: A change from an employee's position to another in the same salary grade via the job posting procedure or as otherwise specified in this contract, e.g. 14.04(b)(i). (b) Any employee shall have the right to apply for a vacant position in the same salary range and classification, subject to the conditions of "promotion", Article 13.04.
