Common use of Transfer of Instructional Special Needs Assistants Clause in Contracts

Transfer of Instructional Special Needs Assistants. ‌ When making transfers the following procedure will be used: A. Volunteers will be considered first. B. If a volunteer is not selected to be transferred, seniority will be considered but will not be the sole criteria for determining the individual to be transferred. C. It shall be the sole prerogative of the superintendent and/or designee to determine which individual will be transferred. D. If requested, a volunteer that was not selected and the individual that has been involuntarily transferred may meet with superintendent and/or designee to discuss the reasons for the superintendent’s and/or designee’s decision.
