Common use of Transfer of Sick Days Clause in Contracts

Transfer of Sick Days. a. In the event the teacher shall have accumulated one or more days of sick leave in another school corporation in this state or another state (beginning in the 1994-95 school year; not retroactive to 1993-94 or before) and is then employed in this district, then there shall be added for the second year and each succeeding year of such employment up to three days of sick leave until the number of accumulated days to which said teacher was entitled in the last place of employment shall be exhausted (IC 20-28-9-10).
