Transfer to a Lower Paying Classification. An employee who is the successful applicant to a job posting, and as a result is transferred to a lower paying classification within the bargaining unit will be placed in the range of the lower paying classification immediately below the wage rate he/she was receiving in his/her previous classification.

Transfer to a Lower Paying Classification. An employee temporarily required to perform work in a lower classification for the convenience of the Hospital and not as a result of lack of work, will receive his or her existing rate at the time of such transfer for the duration of the said temporary transfer.
