The 'Transfer To Another Position' clause defines the employer's right to move an employee from their current role to a different position within the organization. This clause typically outlines the circumstances under which a transfer may occur, such as organizational restructuring, employee performance, or business needs, and may specify whether the transfer is temporary or permanent. Transfer To Another Position. Employees who transfer directly to another position under clause G 8.01 may request a return to their former position without loss of seniority, provided the request is made within ninety (90) days of the transfer. They will then be placed in the first available vacancy in their former position, provided they remain qualified.
Transfer To Another Position. Regular full or part-time employees who are promoted, demoted (voluntary), or transferred to another position will serve a probation period of two (2) months unless the employee promotes, demotes or transfers to a position that has a collective bargaining agreement which requires a longer probationary period.
