Vacation Entitlements. The Corporation shall communicate to employees, the upcoming year’s vacation entitlement by October 1st of each year. Vacation entitlement not taken or not scheduled at the request of the employee shall be assigned by the Corporation or if unable to be scheduled shall be paid out by the end of the year.
Vacation Entitlements. Employees shall earn annual vacation entitlement for any calendar year only when they reach their anniversary, although they may take annual vacation anytime during that calendar year. However, employees are not entitled to take a vacation until they have completed six (6) months' continuous service. Vacation Entitlements. ‌ Full and Part-Time Employees who have completed the service requirements listed below shall be granted vacation leave and receive vacation pay as follows: • In the first (1st) calendar year of service, vacation will be granted on the basis of one-twelfth (1/12) of ten (10) working days for each month or portion of a month greater than one-half (1/2) worked by December 31st. • from the second (2nd) and up to the fourth (4th) calendar year of service of the employee he/she shall be granted an annual vacation of fifteen (15) working days at a rate of six percent (6%); • from the fourth (4th) and up to the seventh (7th) calendar year of service of the employee he/she shall be granted an annual vacation of twenty (20) working days at a rate of eight percent (8%); • from the seventh (7th) and up to the tenth (10th) calendar year of service of the employee he/she shall be granted an annual vacation of twenty-five (25) working days at a rate of ten percent (10%); • from the tenth (10th) and up to the fifteenth (15th) calendar year of service the employee shall be granted annual vacation of thirty (30) working days at a rate of twelve percent (12%); • from the fifteenth (15th) and up to the twentieth (20th) year of service the employee shall be granted an annual vacation of forty (40) working days at a rate of fourteen percent (14%); • from the twentieth (20th) and subsequent years of service the employee shall be granted an annual vacation of fifty (50) working days at a rate of sixteen percent (16%).
Vacation Entitlements. All Regular Employees shall receive an annual vacation with pay on the following basis: a) First Calendar Year of Service (i) Employees during the first (1st) calendar year of service shall accumulate one (1) working day for each completed month of employment, or major fraction thereof, to a maximum of ten (10) working days. (ii) Employees who have been employed for less than a calendar year, but are on the payroll at January 1st, shall be considered to have completed their first (1st) calendar year of service. b) Second Calendar Year of Service and thereafter Employees shall be granted a vacation with pay in accordance with the following schedule: 2nd Year - three (3) weeks. 6th Year - four (4) weeks. 11th Year - four point four (4.4) weeks. 14th Year - five (5) weeks. 19th Year - six (6) weeks. 25th Year - seven (7) weeks. Note: Vacation entitlements are pro-rated based on hours worked for Regular Part-time employees.
