Common use of Transmission to the Union Clause in Contracts

Transmission to the Union. Total Union dues are payable to the Union. Such deductions and an alphabetical list of names of all employees whose dues have been deducted shall be transmitted to the Union no later than the tenth (10th) day following the end of the pay period in which each deduction is made. Once the funds are remitted to the Union, their disposition thereafter shall be the sole and exclusive obligation and responsibility of the Union.
