Transportation Planning. Both Parties benefit by coordinating their respective transportation planning efforts. Therefore, the Parties commit to such coordination including, but not limited to: maintenance and joint ownership of a regional travel demand traffic model, collection and sharing of relevant transportation planning data and information, and briefings to update each other’s staff and elected officials on upcoming or on-going transportation studies and projects.

Transportation Planning. The Supplier/seller shall ensure that: • the vehicle to be used for transportation of the shipment is suitable for the type of load and proper for the planned course and condition of the road to be used for the transportation. • the vehicles are loaded in a manner allowing for safe unloading at the place of unloading by persons other than those being present at the loading. • the load is firmly fixed and secured against displacement and sliding inside the vehicle. Additionally, the safety equipment such as: straps, chains, or side posts (for transportation of steel, pipes, or other long products) are sufficient to carry the weight of the load. • depending on the type of load, each prefabricated component is fixed separately and then the components are secured all together. • the packing, pallets, straps, chains, stands, ladders, and frames are of good quality to ensure safe transportation and unloading. • vehicles for the transportation are equipped properly for reverse run and reverse driving, such as signal buzzer. • The responsibility for safe transportation of materials lies with the Supplier/seller, unless agreed otherwise when placing the order. • All instructions for safe delivery shall be given by the Supplier/seller to the driver who is to transport the materials and who shall report the arrival of the vehicle to the workplace in an agreed manner and shall confirm that the shipment is ready for unloading. • The responsibility for delivered materials passes on the Customer after written handover/takeover procedures and after receiving information and instructions for safe unloading defined by the Supplier/seller. • If unloading is a part of the ordered delivery, then responsibility for safe delivery of materials passes on the Customer after full unloading. • The Carrier’s driver is only allowed to enter the Customer’s site after the Customer’s appointed officer is aware of and approves such entry. • Specific responsibility for unloading shall always be agreed in advance or described in the Materials Delivery Plan. Both parties, the Supplier/seller and the Customer, shall keep one another informed of any material changes which could mean new risks so that the parties could make timely revision of the defined procedures for safe lifting, loading and unloading.
Transportation Planning. The Tewin Landowners will provide financial support for one (1) dedicated Senior Full-Time Equivalent, CIPP 6. Such City Senior FTE will provide coordination and strategic direction for all relevant internal City departments, outside agencies and the internal consultant team of the Tewin Landowners.
Transportation Planning a. Within thirty (30) calendar days of this Agreement being signed, the District will submit to OCR for review a draft plan that ensures that students with disabilities who need special transportation are able to have special transportation:
i. without a shortened school day;1
ii. during summer school; and
iii. for field trips.
b. The District will promptly and fully address OCR’s feedback, if any, until the District receives OCR’s final approval of the plan.

Transportation Planning. 9.1 Strategic Planning Plan for future transportation needs in the City using traffic studies and other data sources.
9.2 Operational Planning Develop plans to meet the current transportation needs in the City Using traffic studies and other data sources.
9.3 Right-of-Way Work with the City Attorney, internal departments and external parties on right-of-way acquisitions.
9.4 Relationship Coordination Work with internal and external entities to develop effective transportation solutions for the City.
Transportation Planning. 9.1 Transportation planning as used in this Memorandum refers to the planning of the movement of people and goods and does not include the planning of recreational trails and bikeways.
9.2 The Region (Division of Planning and Development Services) will:
(a) establish and maintain a transportation planning model with the capability of producing travel demand forecasts and will make the transportation model available to the Area Municipalities for their use in local studies;
(b) establish and maintain, with the assistance of the Area Municipalities, the necessary land use, road network and transit network data bases for the operation of the transportation planning model under Section 9.2(a);
(c) generate travel demand forecasts based on land uses for specified target years as mutually established by the Region and the Area Municipalities;
(d) interpret the results of Section 9.2(c) to determine Regional transportation infrastructure needs for the specified target years;
(e) establish, in consultation with the Area Municipalities, the Police Services Board, the School Boards, and the Conservation Authorities, a prioritized list of major transportation infrastructure needs for the Region as a whole;
(f) act as the key agent for the Region, its Area Municipalities, the Police Services Board, the School Boards, and the Conservation Authorities in dealing with Regional and inter- regional transportation planning matters;
(g) provide expert advice to the Area Municipalities, the Police Services Board, the School Boards, and the Conservation Authorities on transportation planning matters if so requested.
9.3 The Area Municipalities the Police Services Board, the School Boards, and the Conservation Authorities will:
(a) provide to the Region available information necessary for establishing and maintaining the land use, road network and transit network data bases under Section 9.2(b);
(b) participate in any region-wide transportation planning studies as well as the region-wide prioritization of transportation infrastructure needs under Section 9.2(e); and
(c) may utilize the results of Section 9.2(c) in any municipal-wide or sub-area transportation or transit planning studies.
