TRANSPORTATION, TRAVEL TIME AND ROOM AND BOARD. 13.01 The Employer shall remunerate employees for travel time and mileage as follows: a. There shall be a free travel zone of thirty-five (35) kilometres around the Employer’s base of operations. All distances referenced herein shall be measured as the shortest route, on a paved road, and as calculated by Google maps, or equivalent. Any worksite within the free zone shall be exempt from the provisions herein. b. For any project beyond the free zone, the employee shall be paid a travel allowance equal to the time travelled from the Employer’s base of operations to the worksite, but not for return travel. An employee who is assigned to accommodations that do not include adequate kitchen facilities shall be paid an additional ten dollars ($10.00) per day; c. they will receive a non-taxable travel allowance for the time spent travelling to and from the work site at the beginning and end of the work week only. d. they will be transported to the job by the Employer, or where the Employer does not provide transportation, shall receive mileage reimbursement as described in Article 15.01(d) for the trip to and from the project each week. 13.03 The Employer shall make arrangements for parking when employees are assigned to a worksite where no adequate parking exists.

Any fines for parking violations for personal or company vehicles shall be the responsibility of the driver of the vehicle, except in cases when employees such fines can be charged to and are assigned to a worksite where no adequate parking existspaid by the customer.

An employee who is assigned to accommodations that do not include adequate kitchen facilities shall be paid an additional ten dollars ($10.00) per day; c. they will receive a non-taxable travel allowance for the time spent travelling to and from the work site at the beginning and end of the work week only. d. they will be transported to the job by the Employer, or where the Employer does not provide transportation, shall receive mileage reimbursement as described in Article 15.01(d) for the trip use of their vehicle in the amount of forty-five cents (45¢) per kilometer for travel to and from the project worksite; d. for employees staying out of town for these projects, each weekemployee will receive an additional three hours of pay at the employee’s regular rate as payment for weekly shift travel to and from the project; e. local employees hired for the out of town jobs (150 to 250 kilometres from the office) are not entitled to the provisions of this Article. 13.03 12.03 For projects located two hundred and fifty (250) kilometres and over from the office, the Union and the Employer may by mutual agreement agree in writing to add, amend or delete any terms or conditions of the Collective Agreement. 12.04 Company vehicles are for work purposes only. No personal use is permitted. The Employer shall make arrangements for parking when employees will decide on a case by case basis which vehicles are assigned to a worksite where no adequate parking existsbe parked at the Shop and which are permitted to be taken home.

TRANSPORTATION, TRAVEL TIME AND ROOM AND BOARD. 13.01 The 14.01 Where jobs are undertaken by the Employer shall remunerate in areas which are at any distance from the Employee’s residence and where the employees are required to live away from home, the Employer shall: a. make the necessary arrangements for travel time and mileage accommodation; b. provide a daily allowance to cover each employee’s food & beverage costs, as follows: a. i. When the Employer defines air transport as the initial means of transport, the employee must receive prior authorization from the Employer to use another means of transport. Otherwise, the employee will receive the air travel allowance defined by the Employer. c. If the flight is offered, the employee cannot receive road travel allowance. d. The Employer is not responsible for delays associated with air transportation such as breakage, delay, etc. e. This lump sum payment will be calculated based on the longest duration of flight in hours rounding to the nearest half-hour and at a rate of thirty dollars per hour ($30/hr) of travel required to reach the job site. f. Proof of travel and of principal residence may be requested by the Employer. All calculations for travelling are based on Google maps, by distance travelled via the fastest route, no tolls. 15.02 The Employer shall remunerate employees for travel time and mileage as follows: a. There shall be a free travel zone of thirty-five fifty (3550) kilometres kilometers, each way, around the Employer’s base of operationseach worksite. All distances referenced herein shall be measured as the shortest route, on a paved road, and as calculated by Google maps, or equivalent. Any worksite An employee who resides within the free zone of a worksite to which he is assigned shall be exempt from receive no payment for the provisions hereintime spent travelling to that worksite (time or mileage). b. Employees that are requested to use their own personal vehicles to; for all travel outside of the free zone, for travel to more than one worksite in a day within the free zoneday, or to transport materials necessary for the work shall be reimbursed for the use of their personal vehicle at a rate of fifty forty-three cents (50¢$0.43) per kilometre driven. An ; an employee who is assigned to accommodations that do not include adequate kitchen facilities shall be paid an additional ten dollars ($10.00) per day; c. they will receive a non-taxable travel allowance for one-half (½) of the time spent travelling from their home to the outer edge of the free travel zone project, and from the work site same for the return travel at the beginning and end of the work week only. d. they will be transported to the job by the Employer, or where the Employer does not provide transportation, shall receive mileage reimbursement as described in Article 15.01(d) for the trip to and from the project each week. 13.03 The Employer shall make arrangements for parking when employees are assigned to a worksite where no adequate parking exists.;
