TRANSPORTATION, TRAVEL TIME AND ROOM AND BOARD. 13.01 When the employees who are covered by this Agreement are required to travel to jobs in which the Employer is involved and which lie beyond the limits of the Regional Municipality of Niagara and the Regional Municipality of Xxxxxxxx- Xxxxxxxxx, the following conditions shall apply: a. the transportation of the employees shall be provided by the Employer and in the Employer's vehicles; b. Where this rule is impractical for the Employer and the employee is required to use his own car, the employee shall be reimbursed fifty cents (50¢) per kilometre beyond the limits; c. employees shall be paid both ways at one-half (½ their regular hourly rate) for the time it takes from Regional Municipality of Niagara and/or the Regional Municipality of Xxxxxxxx-Xxxxxxxxx boundary to the job, in addition to any reimbursements set out in Article 13.01 b., d., or e. Such time is excluded from the daily and weekly overtime calculations; d. where an employee is required to use a public means of transportation, the Employer shall bear the full cost of such means of public transportation; e. where an employee lives outside the Regional Municipality of Niagara and/or the Regional Municipality of Xxxxxxxx-Xxxxxxxxx and is assigned a job outside the Regional Municipality of Niagara and/or the Regional Municipality of Xxxxxxxx-Xxxxxxxxx, mileage will be paid as per Article 13.01 b. for the distance over forty (40) kilometres to the jobsite and from the jobsite each day. Employees shall be paid both ways at one-half (½ their regular hourly rate) for any distance from the forty (40) kilometre boundary to the job site. Such time is excluded from the daily and weekly overtime calculations. Applicable distance will be calculated based on the shortest reasonable distance travelled by road using Google Maps or an agreed upon alternative. 13.02 Where the jobs are undertaken by the Employer in areas which are at any distance from the Employer's headquarters or home base and where employees are required to find board and lodgings, the Employer shall make the necessary arrangements and bear the costs of such board and lodgings. 13.03 It may be necessary in some cases that a special arrangement will have to be negotiated concerning travelling. Such arrangements can be implemented only after agreement has been reached between the Employer, the employee(s) involved and the Union.

14.02 Travel time and mileage is not paid within the limits;

The local travel zone is as follows: Bounded by the shore of Lake Ontario, from the Welland Canal on the east, south to the crest of the Niagara Escarpment to Xxxxxxxx Xxxx 00, south to Xxx #00, xxxx to Bismarck, continuing west along Regional Road 65, south on Regional Road 2 to Caisterville following through on the Haldimand/Dunnville town line to Regional Road 20, west on Xxxxxxxx Xxxx 00 to the Haldimand/Nanticoke town line around the town of Hagersville to Haldimand/Brant town line, north to the Hamilton/Xxxxxxxxx boundary, west along boundary to Hwy #6 at Puslinch, north to Hwy #401, east to Hwy #25, south to Lake Ontario. Where a road is referenced, the centre line of the road shall be paid both ways at one-half (½ their regular hourly rate) for the time it takes from Regional Municipality of Niagara and/or the Regional Municipality of Xxxxxxxx-Xxxxxxxxx boundary zone limit. A map highlighting these boundaries is attached to the job, in addition to any reimbursements set out in Article 13.01 b., d., or e. Such time is excluded from the daily and weekly overtime calculations;Collective Agreement as Schedule “B.”

TRANSPORTATION, TRAVEL TIME AND ROOM AND BOARD. 13.01 When employees regularly working for the employees who are covered by this Agreement Employer at or out of the Employer’s shop are required to travel to jobs in which the Employer is involved and which lie beyond outside a 45 kilometre radius and/or over a 45 minute drive (on average) from the limits of the Regional Municipality of Niagara and the Regional Municipality of Xxxxxxxx- XxxxxxxxxEmployer's Shop, the following conditions shall apply:
a. the employee shall report to work at the Employer’s shop and the transportation of the employees shall be provided by the Employer and in the that Employer's vehicles;
b. Where when this rule is impractical for the Employer Employer, and the employee is required to use his their own car, the employee shall be reimbursed fifty cents (50¢) per kilometre beyond at the following rate for any distance travelled outside of the above limits;
c. employees ; Per Kilometre - 55¢/km If the Employer requests an employee who is already at a work site to travel to another work site during the course of a workday, or to report to a different jobsite during the workweek and the employee's vehicle is used for such transportation, the vehicle owner shall be paid both ways at one-half (½ their regular hourly rate) for the time it takes from Regional Municipality of Niagara and/or the Regional Municipality of Xxxxxxxx-Xxxxxxxxx boundary to the job, in addition to any reimbursements set out in Article 13.01 b., d., or e. Such time is excluded from the daily and weekly overtime calculations;mileage.
d. c. where an employee is required to use a public means of transportation, the his Employer shall bear the full cost of such means of public transportation;
e. where an employee lives d. subject to Article 8, for jobs which are outside the Regional Municipality of Niagara a 45 kilometre radius and/or the Regional Municipality of Xxxxxxxx-Xxxxxxxxx and is assigned a job outside the Regional Municipality of Niagara and/or the Regional Municipality of Xxxxxxxx-Xxxxxxxxx, mileage will be paid as per Article 13.01 b. for the distance over forty 45 minute drive (40on average) kilometres to the jobsite and from the jobsite each day. Employees Employer's shop, employees shall be paid both ways at their regular hourly rate for all time spent traveling outside the 45/45 free zone, in addition to any reimbursements set out in Article 13.01 b) or c) above. For clarity, the time spent travelling from the Employer’s shop to the job site and returning to the Employer’s shop shall be considered as time worked for the purposes of this Agreement, and is paid for when it exceeds one and one-half (½ their regular hourly rate1½) for any distance from the forty (40) kilometre boundary to the job site. Such time is excluded from the daily and weekly overtime calculations. Applicable distance will be calculated based on the shortest reasonable distance travelled by road using Google Maps or an agreed upon alternativehours daily.

13.03 It may be necessary in some cases that a special arrangement will have When out of town projects make use of labour local to be negotiated concerning travelling. Such arrangements can be implemented only after agreement has been reached between the Employerproject, the employee(s) involved provisions of Article 13.01 and 13.02 do not apply, provided such workers live within the Uniontravel zone of the project (within (45 km/45 minutes). If outside this zone, Article 13.01 and 13.02 shall be applicable.
