Common use of Tuberculosis (TB) Testing Clause in Contracts

Tuberculosis (TB) Testing. In the event that the services required under this Agreement will be performed within a CDCR institution/parole office/community-based program, prior to the performance of contracted duties, Contractors and their employees who are assigned to work with inmates/parolees on a regular basis shall be required to be examined or tested or medically evaluated for TB in an infectious or contagious stage, and at least once a year thereafter or more often as directed by CDCR. Regular basis is defined as having contact with inmates/parolees in confined quarters more than once a week. Contractors and their employees shall be required to furnish to CDCR, at no cost to CDCR, a form CDCR 7336, “Employee Tuberculin Skin Test (TST) and Evaluation,” prior to assuming their contracted duties and annually thereafter, showing that the Contractor and their employees have been examined and found free of TB in an infectious stage. The form CDCR 7336 will be provided by CDCR upon Contractor’s request.
