Unauthorized Access to the Purchasing Entity Network or Protected Purchasing Entity Information. Provider shall not access, and shall not permit Provider Personnel, to access the Purchasing Entity Network or Protected Purchasing Entity Information without the Purchasing Entity’s authorization or as needed to perform obligations under a Contract. The Purchasing Entity may revoke such authorization subsequently at any time in its sole discretion. Further, any access shall be consistent with, and in no case exceed the scope of, any such authorization given by the Purchasing Entity. All Purchasing Entity authorized connectivity or attempted connectivity to the Purchasing Entity Network or Protected Purchasing Entity Information shall be only through the Purchasing Entity’s security gateways and/or firewalls, and in conformity with agreed upon security policies.

  • Information Access Each Party (“Disclosing Party”) shall make available to another Party (“Requesting Party”) information that is in the possession of the Disclosing Party and is necessary in order for the Requesting Party to: (i) verify the costs incurred by the Disclosing Party for which the Requesting Party is responsible under this Agreement; and (ii) carry out its obligations and responsibilities under this Agreement. The Parties shall not use such information for purposes other than those set forth in this Article 25.1 of this Agreement and to enforce their rights under this Agreement.

  • Handling Sensitive Personal Information and Breach Notification A. As part of its contract with HHSC Contractor may receive or create sensitive personal information, as section 521.002 of the Business and Commerce Code defines that phrase. Contractor must use appropriate safeguards to protect this sensitive personal information. These safeguards must include maintaining the sensitive personal information in a form that is unusable, unreadable, or indecipherable to unauthorized persons. Contractor may consult the “Guidance to Render Unsecured Protected Health Information Unusable, Unreadable, or Indecipherable to Unauthorized Individuals” issued by the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services to determine ways to meet this standard.
